Summary:

On the morning of 06/02/2009 a private light helicopter , type Enstrom 280 C having the owner as pilot in command, took off from National Airport of Thessaloniki "Macedonia" (LGTS) for pleasure flight with destination a hotel forecourt at Litochoro beach. It landed on the premises, and later, after boarding of a friend, took off again with destination an uncultivated field located 1 nm west of the original landing site. In the final stages of approach pilot lost control of the h/c and it stopped with the right side of the cockpit to the ground. The two occupants exited the h/c without injured.
