Main Recommendation Text:

The Civil Aviation Authority το consider revising the current standards for hang gliding and paragliding to institutionalize all those measures that will identify and control training procedures and proper organization of agencies / aerathletic associations dealing with gliding/paragliding and relative: training, licensing, maintenance, recording and organizing the areas of operations and the avoidance of uncontrolled activities in general.

RESPONSE to Safety Recommendation:

HCAA replies with document [HCAA/D2/E/27860/8129/03.10.2018] that is in the process to revise the Regulatory Framework for Paragliders and Hang-gliders.[AAIASB assessed this reply with document AAIASB/4119/26.11.2018 as PARTIALY ADEQUATE – OPEN until the new framework is published]
