Main Recommendation Text:

The Hellenic Air Sports Federation through Paragliding Commission should act to inform:

c. Paraglider pilots and Trainers, for the need for additional and recurrent training in the use of the reserve parachute on the procedures to be applied in its use, as well as for regular maintenance. In addition it should be emphasized that the reserve parachute is the only survival equipment for paragliding.

RESPONSE to Safety Recommendation:

Hellenic Aeronautical & Airsports Federation In its reply (document / 100 / 04.07.2018), accepts the recommendation of AAIASB and has established procedures to regularly inform the competent Airsport Committees about the safety recommendations issued by AAIASB.
