The Athens Gliding Club to establish procedures for controlling the maintenance requirements of its gliders by staff with the required knowledge.

RESPONSE to Safety Recommendation:

Athens Gliding Club [AGC] responds [document AGC/23/08.10.2018] to Safety Recommendation 2017-04 that: The gliders providing training to Club members are in continuous airworthiness environment and are monitored in accordance with National and European laws. Single-seat gliders exclusively used for airsport purposes have an approved maintenance program by HCAA D/2 department and the maintenance technicians involved have the foreseen licenses and capabilities.
