Το ensure that all flight crews always report, as soon as possible, to the airline CAMO and the Airline Safety Department, anomalies identified, as required by applicable regulations.
RESPONSE to Safety Recommendation:
The Operator’s response to AAIASB Safety Recommendation (SR) 2021-18 was received by email on 09/11/2021 and received incoming document number: 2535/10-11-2021.
[Operator’s response to AAIASB SR 2021-18]:
“Following your letter (AAIASB/2522/8-11-21) we confirm the reception. In addition, regarding the [safety] recommendations, SAFETY NOTICE has already been issued with instructions for the implementation of the second [safety] recommendation (2021-18) by the [flight] crews [AAIASB requested and received the mentioned SAFETY NOTICE on 23/2/2022 - Attached documents are not made publicly available by AAIASB]. For the first recommendation (2021-17) the safety department (Safety) of our company monitors at regular intervals the accidents, incidents, incidents concerning the types that our company has (METRO SA 227 & EMB 120) via internet.”
[AAIASB assessed this response as “Adequate” on 17/3/2022 (Board meeting) and changed the SR 2021-18 status to “Closed”]
